Thousands of years after the great intergalactic war, the universe is still in a barren state. The remains of human civilization have joined an alliance to seek distant planets for survival, and are sending out 8000 adventurers to find planets in the outermost regions of the universe. Each of the adventurers is given a bag of gear, granting them a slim chance for surviving just long enough to find a suitable planet. The grand goal: survival of the human species. Each bag is randomly put together with the only functioning pieces of gear that still remain after the great war. A bag includes a space suit for life support, helmet, deadly weapon to fend off threats, spaceship, space-drive and transmission device for communication. The remaining planets have scavenged the vast parts of the known universe for this last act of strength, hopeful that some adventurers can seed new life elsewhere.
